Advanced Object Selection Use the Advanced Object Select dialog box to find database objects by using filter criteria, and then select or clear those objects.
Assessment Report Use the Assessment Report to view the results of the conversion of Db2 objects to Transact-SQL syntax, and to estimate the time and complexity of a migration to SQL Server.
Connect to Db2 database Use the Connect to Db2 dialog box to connect to the Db2 database that you want to migrate.
Connect to SQL Server dialog Use the Connect to SQL Server dialog box to connect to the instance of SQL Server to which you want to migrate.
Data Migration Report Displays the results of migrating data from Db2 to SQL Server.
Data Migration Settings Use the Extended Data Migration Settings tab to write custom queries for data migration.
Edit Type Mapping Use the New Type Mapping or Edit Type Mapping dialog boxes to create or modify the mapping of data types between the source and target databases and database objects.
Global Settings (Editor) Use the Editor page of the Global Settings dialog box to configure code editor options.

Project Settings (GUI) Use the GUI page of the Project Settings dialog box to specify how much data appears on the Data tab.
Project Settings (Migration) Use the Migration page of the Project Settings dialog box to customize how SSMA for Db2 migrates data from Db2 to SQL Server.
Project Settings(Synchronization) Use the Synchronization page of the Project Settings dialog box to customize how SSMA for Db2 creates or alters migrated database objects in SQL Server.
Project Settings(Loading System objects) Use the Loading System Objects page of the Project Settings dialog box to specify which Db2 system objects SSMA converts and loads into SQL Server.
Project Settings (Type Mapping) Use the Type Mapping page of the Project Settings dialog box to specify the default type mappings for all databases and database objects in the SSMA for Db2 project.
Refresh from Database Use the Refresh from Database dialog box to select objects to refresh from the Db2 database.
Save Metadata The Save Metadata dialog box appears when you save a project that is missing metadata.
