How can I earn money on the TakeLessons platform?
There are multiple revenue streams available to TakeLessons Partners.
Our instructors are welcome to take advantage of any combination of these offerings.
Private Lessons
When signing up as a Teacher with TakeLessons, you are creating a listing on our website to reach potential new students for private one on one lessons.
Students booking through our public marketplace will select the instructor who is the best match for them based on many factors. Such as your pricing, reviews, profile completeness, and availability.
These students will purchase lessons through your profile at the rates you set during onboarding and you will be notified when a new student has been placed onto your roster to accept.
Group Lessons
After you have set up your teaching profile, you will have access to TakeLessons Live Studio. This gives you the ability to grow your business and gain an online following on the platform by offering live online group classes right through your teacher account.
We encourage you to share TakeLessons Live with your private lesson students and social networks to help kickstart that growth.
When teaching classes, also be prepared to mention other class times you have that week that may interest the students and encourage them to check out private lessons and/or your pre-recorded content.
Pre-Recorded Content
In addition to group classes, you can add pre-recorded videos through TakeLessons Live Studio to earn passive income. Videos can range from a few minutes introducing a new topic to longer, more in-depth lessons. Keep earning from one video months after you post it. It is that simple!
Recorded videos are a wonderful way for students to continue learning before or in between classes. If a student has never taken a class with you, it is also a wonderful way for them to get to know you and the way you teach.
We suggest encouraging students to check out your private and/or group lessons at the end of your video.
