How do I set my group class pricing?
Thank you for teaching group lessons with TakeLessons! We understand it can be challenging to manage an unpredictable payout and attendance rate. With our pay-per-class model YOU set your own rate. This provides helpful insight into the number of students who plan to attend each upcoming class.
How it works
Set your rates while creating or editing your group classes
You will receive 90% of the specified price for each student registration, except in cases where they cancel their enrollment more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Your payment will be added to your weekly earnings payout - Just like our private lesson’s payment schedule. (i.e., for all classes taught through Friday, you will receive payment the following Friday)
Suggested rates
$5 per student for 30-minute classes
$10 per student for classes of 45 minutes and above
Cancellation policy
Students must cancel a group class through their student account with 24 hours’ notice or more. If the lesson is not canceled in advance, they will be charged for the missed lesson, and you will still receive payment for the registration.
We kindly ask that you remain cognizant that students may receive different sign-up offers and promotional pricing to attend your events. This information should not be disclosed.
