Educational Institution Option Overview
The Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) – Educational Institution Option is designed for accredited higher education institutions that offer accredited degree, diploma, certificate, or continuing/further education programs. This includes colleges, universities, polytechnics, and select STEM-focused secondary schools (Institutions).
The program provides institutions with access to high-quality Microsoft training resources and certifications to help faculty and students build in-demand technology skills. Participating institutions can:
- Deliver official Microsoft technology curriculum to support student skill development.
- Access onboarding and curriculum integration support for educators.
- Obtain free/discounted certification exam vouchers for educators.
- Prepare students to gain Microsoft technology knowledge and industry-relevant skills for today’s job market.
- Highlight your participation through joint PR opportunities with Microsoft.
- The Educational Institution Option is ideal for institutions with multiple faculty members interested in building a relationship with Microsoft at the department, program, school, or institution level. Each participating institution designates a Program Advisor, who oversees the program’s implementation and serves as the main point of contact with Microsoft. Institutions also receive onboarding support and ongoing guidance from MSLE Community Managers, including access to office hours as you begin your journey.
This Program Guide outlines the benefits, curriculum, requirements, and participation details for the Educational Institution Option. It is incorporated by reference into the Microsoft Learn for Educators Business Terms, and together they govern your institution’s participation in the program. If there is any conflict between this guide and the Business Terms, the Business Terms take precedence.
