Learning objectives

After completing this module, you'll be able to:

  • Prepare an agent so that other agents can connect to it.
  • Add a connected agent with a specific, distinct routing description.
  • Test delegation in Preview and troubleshoot misrouted requests.
  • Call a published agent from a workflow agent node, use its response, and decide when a step needs a new agent that can request human assistance.

Prerequisites

  • Experience creating, testing, and publishing an agent powered by the GitHub Copilot harness in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Familiarity with agent instructions, knowledge, and tools.
  • Familiarity with solutions where a primary agent delegates work to specialist agents.
  • Basic familiarity with Copilot Studio workflows and dynamic content.
