Exercise - Build and extend an AI agent

Now you put the pieces together by building and extending an AI agent.

In this exercise, you build a Caldova supply chain assistant and extend it with knowledge, tools, and an MCP server. The lab is modular: the shortest task takes about 15 minutes, while the two core tasks take about 35 minutes.

Note

If you don't have an Azure subscription, and you want to explore Microsoft Foundry, you can sign up for an account, which includes credits for the first 30 days.

After completing the exercise, if you're finished exploring Azure AI agents, delete the Azure resources that you created during the exercise.
