Module Assessment

1.

A developer's device-picker component needs to pre-filter the available devices as soon as the request form loads, based on the request's category value. In which lifecycle method should the developer read that value?

In the updateView method, because it runs whenever a bound value changes

In the init method, because it runs first when the component loads

In the destroy method, because it runs before the component renders

2.

A developer wants a code component to bind to a single text column that shows a device's current status on a form. Which manifest element best declares this binding?

A data-set node describing a configurable set of table records

A property node with a usage of bound

An external-service-usage node listing the domain the component calls

3.

A device-picker component calls notifyOutputChanged right after an employee selects a device from the list. What does the framework do in response to that call?

It calls init again to reinitialize the component from scratch

It calls destroy to remove the component from the form

It calls getOutputs to retrieve the component's current output values

4.

Before a model-driven component can call context.utils.hasEntityPrivilege to check the signed-in user's access to the device table, what does the developer need to configure in the manifest?

A data-set node bound to the device table

An additional property node with usage set to output

A uses-feature element for Utility inside the feature-usage node

5.

A team finishes testing a code component with the local test harness and wants to make it available to a maker in a test environment. Which approach fits that goal?

Run pac pcf push against the test environment

Package the component into a solution and import it into the test environment

Run npm start to open the component in the local test harness again
