Exercise - Define Dynamics 365 Field Service resources for scheduling
Once a new monitoring system has been installed, customers can purchase a preventative maintenance package. This package ensures that their new system stays in top operating order. Maintenance packages run for three years.
This includes the following:
- Annual System checks:
- Cleaning of unit from top to bottom
- Testing of all components
- Emergency systems test every 18 months: In addition to new install services technicians will perform break fix services. While there are multiple services that are provided by Contoso Health Services. For the initial implementation, we're going to focus on the following:
- System not able to read patient vitals
- Loss of Power
- Patient vitals Alarm triggered As functional consultant on the project you've been tasked with implementing Dynamics 365 Field Service to meet the specific needs of Contoso Health Services.
Contoso Health Services schedules its technicians based on the skills necessary to complete the job as well as the availability of the technician. While it's possible for technicians to be scheduled for items, they aren't fully skilled on. It's important that technicians are never scheduled to work on a job outside of their working hours.
