Create a new resource
For each resource, you need to create a resource card that contains general information on the resource and information on the resource's cost and unit price.
To manage company resource activities, set up your resources and related costs and prices in Business Central. project-related prices, discounts, and cost factor rules are set up on the project card. You can specify the costs and prices for each of your individual resources, resource groups, or all available resources of the company.
When resources are used or sold in relation to a project, the prices and costs that are associated with the resources are retrieved from the information that you set up for each resource.
You can specify the default amount for each hour for a resource when it's created. For example, if you use a specific machine on a project for five hours, the project would be calculated based on the amount each hour.
