Vendor invoice lines for time
Project managers can use vendor invoice lines for time to record the costs of subcontractor time on projects.
Vendor invoice lines for time might or might not reference a subcontract line for time. If a vendor invoice line for time references a subcontract, project managers are able to match and verify the time that's being invoiced by the vendor invoice line against the time that's recorded by subcontractors and approved by project managers on the project.
The following fields are on vendor invoice lines for time:
Subcontract - Shows the subcontract services that were originally ordered.
Transaction date - Shows the date when the cost actual of the vendor invoice line will be recorded on the project.
Transaction class - Default value of Time, indicating that the vendor invoice line is being used to record the invoice amount of subcontractor time.
