Module Assessment

1.

A developer tries to delete the Request-to-Device lookup column in Contoso's equipment-provisioning solution, but Dataverse blocks the delete because the Request form still references that lookup column. Which action identifies what is preventing the deletion?

Selecting Show dependencies for the lookup column to list the components that reference it

Uninstalling the managed solution that contains the Request form

Exporting the solution as unmanaged and reimporting it to clear the reference

2.

Contoso's base solution and a regional team's managed solution both customize a model-driven app's site map. What outcome should an architect expect at runtime?

The most recently installed solution's site map entirely replaces the other solution's site map

Dataverse blocks the second solution's import because two solutions can't both customize a site map

Dataverse merges the two site map definitions rather than having one layer override the other

3.

Contoso needs to store an API key that a flow uses to authenticate with an external device-availability service, and the key must never appear in plain text in the solution or its exports. Which environment variable data type meets this requirement?

Secret

Text

Data source

4.

Contoso wants makers to request a production deployment without holding write access to the production environment, with the deployment running under an approved service identity instead of the requesting maker's own account. Which gated extension satisfies both requirements?

Pre-export step required

Is delegated deployment

Pre-deployment step required

5.

Contoso's release pipeline must give every build of the equipment-provisioning solution a unique, traceable version number without anyone updating it by hand. Which approach meets this need?

Hardcoding an incremented version number in the Set Solution Version task before each release

Letting Power Platform Checker assign a version number based on the errors it finds

Driving the Set Solution Version task from a pipeline variable such as Build.BuildId
