In this assignment, you'll evaluate a site or app through different points of view and then document the user experience.
Visit a favorite social or e-commerce website or app.
Look at it through the lens of the business that built it.
Look at it through the lens of the app maker who built it.
Look at it through the lens of a user.
Make a list of three things that you like about the website or app as a user and three things that you want to change. Don't forget to include the reasons why you like or dislike something.
Bonus: Make a list of why the business might have made the decisions that they did for the user.
If you're uncertain of where to start, answer the following questions about the website or app:
Is the site easy to navigate? Can you find what you're looking for?
Is the color scheme pleasing to you? Is the site accessible to users who might need it?
How many screens are required to complete the basic transaction or post? In your opinion, is that number too many or too few?
Are simple adjustments available to help make the experience better for the users?
Do you observe any place where the creators took shortcuts that reduce the quality of the user experience?
