Introduction
Agent behavior often needs to be reused across agents. The same escalation logic that works in a support agent may apply to a sales agent, and one team's reporting routine may be valuable to every other team doing the same work. Rebuilding that behavior inside each agent is slow, and small differences between copies accumulate over time. Skills enable you to author a behavior once and reuse it across agents.
In this module, you explore:
- Where skills fit alongside the other components on the GitHub Copilot harness.
- How to adopt a pre-built skill and author one from scratch.
- How to package a skill and reuse it across the agents, teams, and solutions your organization already operates.
By the end of this module, you'll be able to choose when to use a skill, author and package skills that carry across agents, and plan their reuse across agents and environments.
