Workflows best practices
Workflows can dramatically improve efficiency when you use them correctly. Use these best practices to guide your workflow creation in Dragon Copilot (physicians):
Start simple. Begin with a small, repetitive action, such as opening an app or using a keyboard shortcut.
Workflows are only available in the Dragon Copilot desktop application. If you rely on workflows, use the desktop app as your primary interface with Dragon Copilot.
Group related steps together. Keep workflows focused on accomplishing a single, cohesive task.
Use Duplicate to quickly build variations of an existing workflow.
Choose spoken forms that are short, easy to say, and unlikely to conflict with dictation or other commands. For example, "Open Excel" is a better spoken form than "Open Microsoft Excel Application."
Verify each step. Dragon Copilot can't execute steps that don't function manually with your keyboard.
Update and revise workflow steps as needed. If you change your workflow's manual process, remember to update the steps in your workflow to match.
