Essential skills needed to get started as a Dragon Copilot trainer
Before you train Dragon Copilot (physicians), it's important to have the foundational knowledge for using Dragon Copilot. Successful Dragon Copilot training starts with more than product familiarity. A strong trainer foundation combines key attributes of a trainer, expert product knowledge, and experience with Dragon Copilot.

This unit applies to Dragon Copilot and DAX Copilot. The features and functionality available to you vary based on your organization's configuration, language settings, and whether you're using the web, mobile, desktop, or embedded app.
The following skills are necessary for this program:
- Core trainer skills, including how to troubleshoot and provide clear communication.
- Ability to describe key AI terms.
- Core application skills, including overall use and getting started with Dragon Copilot.
- Experience using all features available in Dragon Copilot, including personalization and efficiency tools.
When trainers begin with a strong foundation, learners gain confidence faster, adopt Dragon Copilot more consistently, and see meaningful workflow improvements sooner.
