Introduction to dyslexia teaching

Completed

The dyslexic brain processes information differently but it can be taught to read efficiently; and what benefits a learner with dyslexia in a classroom benefits all learners. One way is to include multisensory instruction, which gives learners different ways to absorb what we're instructing.

Reflection

  • How can you be a catalyst for a child who is struggling with reading acquisition?
  • How will your awareness of dyslexia change your teaching, classroom instruction, and view of a student’s strengths?
