Print customer statements
Businesses send customer statements to customers to inform them of balances and open entries, like invoices, credit memos, and payments.
To print a customer statement, follow these steps:
Open the customer list and select the customer for which you want to print a statement.
Select Report > Statement.
On the Options FastTab of the statement request page, enter the following details:
Start date and end date
Statement Style:
Balance: Gives customers an overview of outstanding amounts and a reminder to pay amounts that are overdue.
Open Items: Provides options what to include in regards to open items.
Shows only open entries within the specified date range.
Shows a balance for open entries before the start date.
Ignores entries that have a posting date that's after the ending date.
Select the customers and entries you want to include.
In the Aging Band section, specify if you want to use an aging band. An aging band provides a summary, based on the Aging Band Period Length and Aging Band by fields.
On the Output Options FastTab you can select one of the following output options: Print, Preview, Word, PDF, Email, XML.
On the Filter: Customer FastTab, you can specify for which customers you would like to print statements.
Select OK to create the customer statements.
