Examine Windows 365 reports
Note
This information doesn't apply to Windows 365 Business edition.
The following reports are available for monitoring various aspects of your Cloud PC environment:
- Resource performance report
- Remoting connection report
- Cloud PC utilization report
- Cloud PC connection quality report
- Connected Frontline Cloud PCs report
- Cloud PCs that aren't available report
- Cloud PC actions report
A brief description of each report is provided here, with links for more information provided for each report.
Resource performance report
The Resource performance report in Endpoint analytics helps you optimize vCPU and RAM resources on the Cloud PC devices in your organization. The report includes four tabs of information:
- Resource performance score
- Model performance
- Device performance
- Device history
You need to enroll your Cloud PC devices in Endpoint analytics before you can use this report.

To view the Resource performance report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Reports > Endpoint analytics > Resource performance. More information about the Resource performance report is available here.
Remoting connection report
The Remoting connection report in Endpoint analytics helps you monitor key performance metrics for connecting to the Cloud PCs. There are two metrics in this report:
- Round trip time (ms)
- Sign in time (sec)
You need to enroll your Cloud PC devices in Endpoint analytics before you can use this report.

To view the Remoting connection report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Reports > Endpoint analytics > Remoting connection. More information about the Remoting connection report is available here.
Cloud PC utilization report
The Cloud PC utilization report helps you confirm that your licenses are assigned to active users. By reviewing Cloud PCs with low usage, you can decide if a Windows 365 license would better serve other users who might use these resources more often.
To view the Cloud PC utilization report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Cloud PC performance > View report (under Cloud PCs with low or no utilization). More information about the Cloud PC utilization report is available here.
Cloud PC connection quality report
The Connection quality report helps Windows 365 administrators identify devices that might be performing below expectations. Connection quality is a subjective concept with many variables defining what is acceptable in any given circumstance. Admins should use the objective data provided by this report, along with their own subjective performance criteria, to determine any remediations that may be needed.
To view the Cloud PC connection quality report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Overview > Cloud PC performance > View report (under Connection quality). More information about the Cloud PC connection quality report is available here.
Connected Frontline Cloud PCs report
The Connected Frontline Cloud PCs report helps you:
- Understand the number of concurrent connections for each Cloud PC size.
- Make sure you purchased the right number of licenses for your peak usage.
By reviewing the maximum concurrent connections, you can decide if you need to purchase more licenses to ensure your end users aren't blocked from using their Frontline Cloud PCs.
The following permissions are required to view this report:
- SharedUseLicenseUsageReport
- SharedUseServicePlans
To assign these permissions, go to Tenant administration > Roles > Create > Windows 365 role.
To view the Connected Frontline Cloud PCs report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Cloud PC performance > View report (under Connected Frontline Cloud PCs), then select a Cloud PC size. More information about the Connected Frontline Cloud PCs report is available here.
Cloud PCs that aren't available report
The Cloud PCs that aren't available report helps Windows 365 administrators identify Cloud PCs that might be currently unavailable.
This report displays recent conditions, from the last 5 to 15 minutes. Therefore, Cloud PCs in the report might have recovered since the condition was recorded. Also, Cloud PCs that recently became unavailable might not be in the report.
To view the Cloud PCs that aren't available report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Overview > Cloud PC performance > View report (under Cloud PCs that aren't available). More information about the Cloud PCs that aren't available report is available here.
Cloud PC actions report
The Cloud PC actions report shows you the status of any actions that admins have taken on Cloud PCs.
To view the Cloud PC actions report, sign in to Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Monitor > Cloud PC actions. More information about the Cloud PC actions report is available here.
The Cloud PC actions report shows the following information:
- Device name
- Primary user UPN
- Action: The following actions are included in the report:
- Create Snapshot
- Move Region
- Place Under Review
- Power On/Off (W365 Frontline only)
- Reprovision
- Resize
- Restart
- Restore
- Troubleshoot
- Status: There are four possible statuses for an action:
- Succeeded: The action completed successfully.
- Failed: The action didn't complete. When available, you can select Retry to try again.
- Pending: The action is in progress. Don't make changes to the Cloud PC (like removing the license).
- Review required: An admin must take action to complete the action. For example, assigning a target license to a device in Resize Pending License state for the Resize action.
