Dynamics 365 Business Central provides fully integrated fixed assets management functionality, which helps a company manage its assets effectively and efficiently. For each fixed asset, you can create a fixed asset card.
On the General FastTab, you can find asset-related information like the number and location. On the Depreciation Book FastTab, you can configure how the fixed asset is depreciated and which G/L accounts are used when transactions are posted.
To monitor insurance coverage, you can create insurance policies. The Insurance Card page contains a General FastTab, where you can find information like the insurance type or the policy coverage. On the Posting FastTab, you are able to find information such as the class or location for the insurance policy.
