PL-200: Learning Path 4 Create canvas apps in Power Apps

Learning Path 4 Overview

As you begin to teach this learning path, get familiar with what the students will learn during the learning path. In this learning path students will learn about canvas apps and the ability to develop custom apps from services, connectors, and a data platform with Power Platform in the format required. Students will also learn about the different formats required such as different navigation, collaborative, mobile, or internal apps designed from the ground up templates and wizards.

This learning path consists of seven modules:

  • Module 1 – Introduction to canvas apps

  • Module 2 – Customize a canvas app

  • Module 3 – Build the UI in a canvas app

  • Module 4 – Navigation in a canvas app

  • Module 5 – Manage apps

  • Module 6 – Build a mobile-optimized app

  • Module 7 – Connect to other data in canvas apps

  • Describe how to build customization into your apps

  • Explain how to ensure access and collaboration of canvas apps is considered, how will users best work with the apps such as mobile or in Teams

  • Explore the Power Platform admin center

  • Explore the Visual Studio and ensure makers are familiar with the environment
