Implement improvements by using Power Apps
The path to hyperautomation isn't always about behind-the-scenes automation. Occasionally, improvements such as a new app from Microsoft Power Apps can remove barriers to users being more productive. By combining the new Power Apps application with other cloud flows that you built based on insights that you uncovered during process mining, you can expect improvements for users and the processes that they interact with.
For example, in the following Copilot interaction, you ask "Address my bottleneck." Copilot in Process Mining responds by offering suggestions for Power Automate and Power Apps.
The suggestion is clickable and launches the Copilot experience to build an app from Power Apps. Copilot suggests a table for your data and allows you to make any necessary database adjustments before it launches the app maker experience.
After you confirm the data model, the system generates the app. Then, you have the full app-making experience and functionality to create the exact app that you need. Additionally, you can edit and adjust your new app by using Copilot in Power Apps.
The following video demonstrates an end-to-end example of using Copilot in Process Mining to create an app from Power Apps. Notice that Copilot identifies the longest running variant in the process. It identifies the cause of this issue and suggests a Power Apps application that you can use to remedy the cause of the delay.
If people mostly use Microsoft Teams, you could also consider using cards for Power Apps to streamline processes and improve productivity. Power Apps cards are micro apps with enterprise data, workflows, and interactive, lightweight UI elements that other applications can use as content. Because cards are part of the Power Apps ecosystem, they can add business logic through Microsoft Power Fx and integration with business data through Microsoft Power Platform connectors. By using cards, you can quickly build and share rich, actionable apps without any coding or IT expertise. For more information, see Cards for Power Apps overview.
Power Apps allows you to build custom apps that help your users address the bottlenecks and issues that you identify from your process mining insights. With these apps (or cards), you can reduce the barriers to their success.
