Hyperautomation with insights from process mining

In this module, you learn about the opportunities to implement hyperautomation with Microsoft Power Platform from the insights that you gain by using Microsoft Power Automate Process Mining add-on capabilities.

Your learning objectives for this module are to:

  • Identify hyperautomation scenarios.

  • Use Microsoft Copilot to help you identify hyperautomation options.

  • Assess how insights from process mining can help you start implementation in the different Microsoft Power Platform products.

  • Use process insights to improve your Power Automate cloud flows.

Hyperautomation is a business-driven approach that can help you identify, evaluate, and automate as many processes as possible, whether they're IT processes or business processes. Microsoft Power Platform includes many options for you to evaluate and implement these new streamlined automations. Microsoft Copilot is a key part of the process, offering insights and suggestions for you to implement hyperautomation by using Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and by using your natural language prompts against the results from Power Automate process mining.

AI-powered insight helps everyone in your organization make data-driven decisions. You can identify and prioritize problem areas in your processes, such as bottlenecks or underperforming flows, and then you can act quickly with AI recommendations for optimization and automation.

For example, Copilot can help with the process of ingesting data from event logs that you store in Microsoft Azure Data Lake. It analyzes the data to identify bottlenecks and then recommends apps and automations to create them. Additionally, it offers natural language descriptions that you can use to draft the apps and automation. The following example shows Copilot responding to the prompt "Address my bottleneck" with options to Create a flow or Update an app.

Then, you can use AI-assisted authoring to build, edit, and extend solutions by using natural language. You can build quickly and more easily by using Copilot to create flows, write code, recommend next steps, and get help through chat.

AI-powered processing infuses intelligence into business processes with prebuilt and custom AI models for document processing, image data extraction, prediction, and analytics. You can build, train, and publish AI models without a single line of code or the help of a data scientist.
