Interactivity during a call

Completed

Once you and your students are more familiar with Teams calls, you can increase your students’ level of interactivity in several ways.

  • Create small groups. With the private channel feature in Teams, you can create small groups for your class. In  private channels, student groups can start a Teams call and work on a problem, discuss a question, or complete a task together. You can move from one call to another (like you would move from one group to another in your physical classroom) by joining each call and checking in to see what questions or needs each group has.
  • Assign Kahoot challenges. With Teams integration, you can share Kahoot challenges to groups as homework or during a call. Students will receive a notification, and educators can offer feedback - all within Teams.
  • Make learning active with Pear Deck. Use Pear Deck's add-in for PowerPoint to transform static PowerPoint presentations into engaging classroom conversations. Use Pear Deck's integration with Teams to make your integration seamless.
