Understand cluster tiers

Cluster tiers in vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB specify the resources allocated to your cluster, such as CPU (vCores) and memory (RAM), tailored to different application needs:

  • Lower Tiers (for example, M30, M40): Best for lighter workloads or development environments.
