Move items

Completed

After filling out the movement worksheet, you need to create a warehouse movement document from the worksheet as a request for warehouse employees to get items from their present location to their new location.

At this stage, it's still possible to change zone and bin values on the place line, and the possibility to split lines is also available. The split line functionality can be useful if you need to take the items from, or place the items in, more than one bin. When the items have been physically moved, the warehouse employee must register the lines to complete the movement.

The final step is registering the movement by selecting Register Movement on the movement document. The items are then moved between bins.

Similar to registering put-aways and picks, registering a movement creates warehouse entries. You can view the warehouse from the warehouse registers by following these steps:

  1. Select the Search for page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter warehouse registers, and then select the related link.

  2. Select the line for which you want to view the warehouse entries. The source code indicates from where the register was processed.

  3. To view the warehouse entries, select Navigate > Register > Warehouse Entries.
