School/community events
Attending sponsored events is exciting for both Minecraft Student Ambassadors and their sponsors. As you plan your MSA program activities for the year, look at your school, district, or community calendars for program options where the Minecraft Student Ambassadors (MSAs) highlight the program with stakeholders.
Back to school events
A fantastic way to get the word out about your MSA program is to include your MSAs if your school/district has any back-to-school events. This is a great time for your MSAs to demo educational uses of Minecraft Education to the school community. It's important to have information on how students sign in to their school/district Minecraft Education accounts.
Highlight MSAs at conferences
Highlight your MSAs at local conferences.
- One benefit that the MSA program provides is the gift of leadership. Highlighting your students at conferences builds leadership skills but also communication skills. Being in social situations where they speak about Minecraft, something they're passionate about, gives students the opportunity to build confidence.
- By submitting a proposal for a session or a student showcase at your state’s local ISTE affiliate conference, your students have the opportunity to tell your entire state about the awesomeness happening in your Minecraft Student Ambassador program. Check out other educator conferences and/or technology conferences to expose MSAs to leadership opportunities.
- Students can also demo Minecraft on their MSA devices at conferences. Have them work on a particular build challenge during the event, building something they're passionate about. Or build something to solve a real-world problem. As students are building, they speak to "how" to build in Minecraft as well as the build that they're creating.
