Configure allocation keys for fixed asset transactions
The Allocations function on the FA Posting Groups page shows an overview of the allocated percentage on the types of expenses and costs for an asset. With allocations, you can specify how you want to allocate an amount on a general journal line to several different accounts. The allocation can be made by quantity, percentage, or amount. The allocation features can be used with recurring journals and in the fixed assets application area.
