What is AutoText?

AutoText is reusable content in PowerScribe One that helps standardize report creation. It can include standard text, section headings, and structured elements to support faster, more consistent dictation. Depending on how you use it, AutoText can function as a template, macro, or module. You create all three in the AutoText Editor, and each serves a different purpose.

AutoText content can vary in size and complexity. It might include:

  • Standard text or phrases.
  • Section headings (for example, Findings or Impression).
  • Structured elements such as fields, Pick Lists, or tables.
  • Links to procedure codes and nested components.
  • Other AutoText as nested block elements.

AutoText supports both minimal and highly structured reporting workflows.
