Introduction
While working across apps and tasks, people often remember what they saw—but not where they found it. With content spread across documents, browser tabs, email, and conversations, it can be difficult to retrace steps and find information later.
Recall (preview) helps address this challenge by allowing users to rediscover content they’ve previously seen on their device. Instead of searching for file names or locations, users can describe what they remember and return to it more quickly.
In this module, you’ll learn how to use Recall (preview) to find previously viewed content using natural language, apply it in real-world scenarios, and identify when it can reduce time spent retracing steps.
Note
Copilot+ PC experiences vary by device and market and might require updates continuing to roll out; timing varies.
Recall (preview) requires Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security and is optimized for select languages (English, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Japanese, and Spanish). Content-based and storage limitations apply.
