Introduction
Engineering change management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management provides you with structured processes for managing changes to engineering products. You can use the engineering change request process to propose and request changes and then use the engineering change order process to make the changes.
Additionally, you can configure workflows for both options. For more information, see the Configure engineering change management for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management module. Whether you select to use workflows or not, a process is established for reviewing changes, assessing the changes' impact, and approving them.
