Enter a date formula in the Expiration Calculation field on the item card.
Set the Require Expiration Date Entry field to Yes on the Item Tracking Codes page.
Set the Strict Expiration Posting field to Yes on the Item Tracking Codes page.
Move items to a zone in the warehouse in which expired inventory is collected.
You have created an item tracking code for which you have enabled the Lot-Specific Tracking field. What does this setting mean?
When you post inbound transactions, the program will automatically assign lot numbers by using the number series in the Lot Nos. field on the item card.
Item tracking codes with the Lot-Specific Tracking field enabled automatically use expiration dates.
Item tracking codes with the Lot-Specific Tracking field enabled automatically get the Specific Costing Method on the item card.
