Learner submission of a Math Progress assignment
The Math Progress experience is simple and easy for learners to navigate.
Access a Math Progress assignment
- From the class team, select the assignment the educator created.
- In the My work section of the assignment, there's a link to the activity.
The learner gets a preview of the assignment including:
- The Number of questions in the assignment
- Directions to complete their work on a piece of paper
- If the educator turned on the Show your work option when creating the assignment, directions to upload up to 5 pictures
- A reminder to enter their final answer in the text box and to use correct formatting
- Encouragement to double-check their answers before submitting the assignment
Complete a Math Progress assignment
When the learner is ready to start the assignment, they select the Get started button.
The assignment opens to show all the questions, but the learner can choose to work on one question at a time.
After they select an answer, the learner can rate the question as easy, just right, or hard.
For short response questions, the learner can use the math keyboard to enter their response.
On the right side of the assignment, the learner can check how many questions they've completed.
Show your work
If the educator turned on the Show your work option, the learner has directions to upload their work for the problems. The learner can upload their work from:
- OneDrive
- Teams
- Their own device
Learners have many options to capture their work, like:
- Taking screenshots of a OneNote Notebook or Microsoft Whiteboard
- Using their camera to take photos of their work
Learners can upload up to five images per assignment.
Submit a Math Progress assignment
When the learner is ready, they select Done and then Turn in to submit the assignment.
