This module introduces social and emotional learning and gives practical ways to use Microsoft tools such as Minecraft, OneNote, Teams, and Reflect to augment and enhance learning.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of this module, you'll be able to:

  • Identify the value of increased emphasis on social and emotional learning (SEL) in the class, as established by research.

  • Use the CASEL competencies to plan for appropriate use of digital tools to enhance, support, and augment an SEL presence in the class.

  • Reflect on the application of SEL lessons and experiences in the class.
