Introduction
Power Apps in education 201 is a sequel to the Power Apps in education 101 module. The first module includes a basic understanding of the “what, why, and how” of Power Apps, an overview and creation of a Student Information app, and the ability to customize that app, which can also be used with the Power Apps app for mobile devices. It's recommended that learners complete that module prior to starting this module.
This Power Apps in education 201 module guides educators to develop a further understanding of how Power Apps can be used with and by students. Participants will create a basic vocabulary app in Teams that can be used by students as a vocabulary introduction or review app. Educators who wish to customize the vocabulary app to fit almost any curricular area will learn to do so. Power Apps in Teams provides easy access to apps right in Teams, making them quickly available to all team members. Finally, educators will discover opportunities for students to create apps themselves.
Learning objectives

Before you begin
To compete the activities in this module you need:
Membership in a Microsoft Teams team. View the 'Getting started' section of the 'Create your own library app' project if you don't have a team. Membership in a team is important for the vocabulary app-building activity.
Apps enabled when you're signed into Teams (at the bottom left of the Teams window) and, specifically, Power Apps must also be enabled within those Teams apps (do a search after you select the apps icon to see if it's available). If either or both of those specific items aren't available for your use, then most probably they haven't been “turned on” for your account.
If Apps or Power Apps aren't enabled in your Team, please check with the administrator of the Microsoft tenant (account). Your organization will need to request that it be enabled (contact your campus IT rep to set this up). Also, when you start to use Power Apps in Teams, if it doesn’t work correctly, then it may not be “fully” enabled for use with your account.
