Before you can sync Shopify orders, you'll need to have customers in your Shopify online store. You can create them manually, similar to what new customers would do when they make their first purchase. Alternatively, existing Business Central customers could purchase from your Shopify online store, which is why you'd want to sync customers to Shopify.

Because you only have a few customers in your Business Central demo environment, you decide to export them all to Shopify. When the export is finished, you check the result in your Shopify online store.

To sync the Business Central customers to Shopify, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search for Page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter shopify shops, and then select the related link. 

  2. Open the Shopify Shop Card page. 

  3. Select Synchronization > Sync Customers.

  4. After a few seconds, open your Shopify online store.

  5. Select Customers and then check if the customers have been created.
