Students also learn how to code and analyze code. In addition, they develop programs that address real-world problems and collaborate in the development of their solutions. Students explore computing innovations and their impact on society. In short, “AP CSP is designed to open a pathway for students to continue studies in college-level STEM and computing courses, but it also positions them for success in a wide variety of disciplines and industries.” AP® Computer Science Principles (collegeboard.org)
