AI can make mistakes
A Copilot response can sound clear and confident and still be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check information that could affect health, money, benefits, safety, travel, school, or work before acting on it.
Use an official website, current written instructions, or a trusted person. For example, if Copilot gives a bus time, check the current schedule from the bus company before leaving.
Remember: AI is not proof that a message, person, website, phone number, or payment request is real. Verify it another way.
