Copilot for model-driven apps helps users ask questions about data within the app. It provides AI-powered insights and intuitive navigation that can improve productivity.

This simulation demonstrates how to enable and configure Copilot for use in a model-driven app.

To use Copilot in model-driven apps, you must enable it in your Microsoft Power Platform environment.

To enable Copilot for users of model-driven apps:

  1. Enable Copilot in your environment.

  2. Set up the environment to receive monthly updates for model-driven apps.

  3. Configure the relevant Dataverse tables and columns.

After configuration, Copilot becomes available within the app. When available, a Copilot icon appears in the user interface. Selecting the icon opens or minimizes the Copilot pane. In the interactive exercise that follows, you add an agent for a model-driven app user in Power Apps.

Submit feedback on Copilot responses

Users can help improve agent accuracy by submitting feedback. By default, agents include a feedback feature where users can provide a thumbs-up or thumbs-down response, or enter more detailed comments.

Administrators can disable this feature. The Organization table includes the Allow users to provide feedback for App Copilot column, which can be set to No.
