Summary
This module explored how to share an agent with other users in your organization and in Microsoft Teams chats. You learned that when you share an agent, you extend its benefits to a broader audience within your organization. Doing so allows your colleagues to use the agent's capabilities to improve their work processes.
In this module, you learned that the process of sharing an agent in Copilot Chat is different than sharing an agent in SharePoint. In Copilot Chat, you learned that a user can share an agent with specific employees or deploy it to their entire organization. No administrative action is required.
However, in SharePoint, you learned that after a user creates an agent for a SharePoint site, the site's owner or administrator must approve the agent to make it available for other site members and site visitors to use. The site owner or admin can also set an agent as the default agent for the site, which makes it the first agent that loads up for site visitors when they launch the chat pane.
The module also examined how to share an agent in Microsoft Teams by adding it to a chat. Doing so boosts collaboration by embedding the agent directly into group chats or channels. You learned that Team members can use the '@' mention feature to interact with the agent, seamlessly incorporating it into their daily workflow.
The module concluded by exploring how to use agents in Copilot Chat and SharePoint. Step-by-step instructions showed you how to select and use agents, how to refer to specific files when using agents, and how to manage your chat history. You also learned about the types of files that can be referenced when interacting with agents.
