Search Coach is a Teams tab app that learners access anytime to practice essential search skills—writing strong queries, using filters with intention, and evaluating results—in a secure, ad-free environment. Educators use the Insights tab in Teams to spot patterns over time, with clear, time-boxed data views to support targeted coaching.
Search Progress brings Search Coach into Assignments (available in Teams for Education and the Microsoft 365 LTI) and adds scaffolds that make learners' thinking visible as they gather sources for their assignment. Assignment-level, class-wide Insights let teachers compare individual learners’ patterns to the class median and review trends in saved sources and query activity for each project.
Each student has emotions as complex and real as their supporting adults – but they don’t always have the words to express and address those emotions. To support the entire student, educators must build a safe place and appropriate scaffolding to help students learn to talk about and take action for social and emotional wellbeing in the classroom.
