Become a Student Ambassador

We're looking for students who have skilled up on the Microsoft Learn platform, earned badges and trophies across a variety of subjects, and shared their Microsoft Learn recognitions online.

• Applicants should include their Microsoft Learn profile URL on the application. Make sure Private Mode is toggled off.

We're looking for students who have led their local and online communities by hosting events and sharing Microsoft content to drive engagement and build their circle of influence.

• Applicants should include their online and social network accounts on their applications and these accounts should show their passion for Microsoft technologies, products and services.

We're looking for students whose application responses are unique, on-topic and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.

• Applicants should include specific examples on their application that highlight their ability to be socially conscious agents of change driven by a desire for impact.

We know students are busy people who have many different responsibilities - that's why we try to make the expectations of our Student Ambassadors as flexible as possible. A Student Ambassador's journey is broken down by three different milestones, each with a different level of contribution that unlocks additional benefits.

To advance to the Alpha milestone, a Student Ambassador must complete one Microsoft Learn learning path within the first four months. To advance to the next milestones and unlock even more benefits, we help you host your first event with resources and swag, or help you participate in a project to grow your technical skills. 

We give you time to complete these expectations on your own schedule, give you the resources to grow above and beyond the basic requirements, and are always open to feedback. Full program requirements are communicated once you're accepted into the program - we can't wait for you to join us!

The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Code of Conduct is intended to provide individuals considering participation in the program, as well as the public, with the standards we put forth for our community.
