The following issues have been addressed in Windows 10 and later as of October 2021.
- Users have reported being unable to change IME mode from their applications.
- Users couldn't change IME mode using the keyboard.
- Users couldn't change IME mode using the task tray icon.
- Switching between remote applications doesn't change the IME mode.
Affected platforms:
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Remote Desktop Services
Note
- Windows 8.1 and earlier are out of service and remain affected.
- You must apply the update to both the Remote Desktop server and client device.
