Provides ways to use Game bar, game monitoring, and game chat.

Classes

GameBar

Provides notifications and information about the visibility and input redirection state of Game bar.

GameChatMessageReceivedEventArgs

Contains the event arguments for the MessageReceived event. This API is not available to all apps. Unless your developer account is specially provisioned by Microsoft, your app cannot use this API.

GameChatOverlay

Represents the game chat overlay.

GameChatOverlayMessageSource

Provides an event that is raised every time the game chat receives a message, as well as a method to set the delay before the game chat overlay closes after receiving a message. This API is not available to all apps. Unless your developer account is specially provisioned by Microsoft, your app cannot use this API.

GameMonitor

Allows an app to get the game monitor permission state of the device, and potentially prompt the user to enable game monitoring.

Important

As of Windows 10, version 1809 (10.0; Build 17763), this API is removed from the public API surface of Windows.

GameUIProviderActivatedEventArgs

Event arguments associated with a GameUIProvider activation. This API is not available to all apps. Unless your developer account is specially provisioned by Microsoft, your app cannot use this API.
