Introduction
To add tenants after the first tenant(s) is/are created via M130, H21, or M423 amendment, you need to complete the Multi-tenant Add Tenant form. A Tenant Information Excel form must be attached for the Add Tenant form to be valid.
How to complete the Multi-tenant form
Select the program type of the lead enrollment.
Populate the Lead enrollment number field. For the tenant enrollment number, Microsoft will complete this with the new tenant’s enrollment number.
Complete and attach the Tenant Information Excel form with the appropriate information.
The Add Tenant form must be attached with Tenant Information Excel form to be valid.
Complete and attach the Tenant Information Excel form with the appropriate information.
- The form will be available in explore.ms; you can also request one from your Microsoft commercial executive.
- Add one tenant per row and follow the instructions in the README tab of the Excel spreadsheet.
- Ensure that the number of tenants in the amendment matches the number of tenants entered in the Tenant Information Excel form.
- The Tenant Affiliate Name will be used at the end of the new Public Customer Number (PCN).
- If there’s a channel price sheet (CPS) with the Add Tenant form, the tenant affiliate name in the Tenant Information Excel form must match the tenant ID in the CPS. For example, Contoso is the tenant affiliate name. It will appear as Contoso-77412345-customer.onmicrosoft.com.
- A CPS isn’t required with the Add Tenant form.
- For the Contact email address field, a unique online services manager (OSM) email address is required.
- Don’t delete or add any columns, and don’t hide or unhide any columns or rows. These are for the Microsoft Operations team’s internal use only.
Note:
An M130, H21, or M423 amendment is used first to establish the terms and conditions for an enrollment to become the lead and add tenants. Once the terms and conditions have been established, this Multi-tenant form can be used to add more tenants at a later time, if needed.
