Enterprise Agreement price lock

EA price policy

Ordering an Enterprise SKU

  • Order via the channel or customer price sheet (CPS) if the price isn't locked and this situation isn't a reconciliation of an online services (OLS) reservation.

Submit the order if the SKU was already purchased or set on the Future Pricing Table. Be careful with these scenarios:

  • Don’t try ordering Enterprise products that aren't price locked if you’re not reconciling an OLS reservation.
  • If you purchase an Enterprise product and didn’t lock the price on the Future Pricing Table, you can order extra quantities using the original month’s price list.
  • If you want to use a Server and Cloud Enrollment offering, the SKU must be fixed in the CPS.

Ordering an additional product SKU

Order anytime using the current price list. To obtain special discounts, use a CPS.
The first purchase sets the month of the price list that will be used for future orders. Be careful with this scenario:

  • If you buy extra products with CPS discounts but don't list the SKU on the Future Pricing Table, the order is a one-time special order. It won't lock in the discount for future orders.

Reconciling an OLS reservation

  • If CPS didn't lock the customer's SKU price earlier (Enterprise or extra products), the first order or reservation sets the month of the price list for current and future orders. Be careful with these scenarios:
  • The price list of the month of the first reservation determines the set price. This rule applies even if you have pending reservations with different usage months.
  • The reservation SKU is just a placeholder to provide an OLS. GOV Government Community Cloud SKUs are used; you need to pick up the correct SKU when reconciling. Keep in mind that only GOV customers can purchase GOV SKUs.

Multitenant environment

  • Any SKU ordered at the lead or tenant level should cascade down or up to the tenant or lead enrollments. If not, submit a support ticket to fix the Future Pricing Table. Be careful with this scenario:
  • Monthly subscriptions that are on-premises products (CAL Bridges, Virtual Desktop Agent, Win per User, SQL Server Subs) must be ordered under the lead enrollment, not a tenant enrollment.
  • US Government Community Cloud SKUs must be established via a CPS; the commercial executive involvement is required. Be careful with these scenarios:
  • Don’t mix Government Community Cloud SKUs with regular corporate SKUs in a Gov tenant.
  • Government Community Cloud, Government Community Cloud High, and Government Community Cloud Department of Defense can't be ordered in the same tenant either.
