This article provides guidance on how to use Volume Licensing Central for Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA), and Harvest Virtual Machines (HVMS)
Reporting submission of products
In reporting programs, the usage date is the month to report. You find the usage date in the VLC Agreement Number header under Usage Date.
In programs such as ISV, it’s mandatory that the usage date to report is the last day of the month when the product was used. For example, for the May 2024 report, the usage date must be May 31, 2024 (5/31/2024).
Zero usage (ZU) reports
Under the Zero Usage option in VLC Orders, you’ll find all active agreements that qualify to receive a ZU report for a period. To search a previous period, enter the correct month and year in the Usage Period Date field, and then select Go. Alternatively, use the Search field.
Under the No Usage header, select the agreement numbers, then select Submit to record the ZU.
Once the ZU report is created, a notification message is displayed. If the items are still under the No Usage section, select the refresh button.
