By default, Web Search and News Search return the parts of each page most relevant to the query (contentFormat = passage), up to 3,000 characters per result (maxLength = 3000). passage is the recommended format for grounding.
Depending on your setup, your application may have additional content formats enabled, or different defaults.

With these formats, maxLength accepts values up to 500000 characters.
If your application isn't enabled for a format, a request that sets it returns HTTP 403. passage works for every application.
Request full-page content
To request full-page content, open a Web IQ Support request through Azure Support and choose the Full-page content category. Applications that already use html or text keep working as today.
