Running the test

Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: WDTF System Fundamentals Testing Prerequisites.

The HSTI Test requires that BitLocker be installed. This is the PowerShell command for Windows Server:

Install-WindowsFeature Bitlocker -Restart

This test returns Pass or Fail. To review test details, review the test log from Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) Studio. If this test fails because of insecure DMA detection, please contact Microsoft to request a review process to understand the implications of this failure.
