Running the test

Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Wireless LAN (802.11) Testing Prerequisites.

This test suite performs the following actions:

  • Enables FIPS on the Client machine.
  • Configures two routers, that are named Router 0 and Router 1, as follows:
    • Router 0 - 2.4 GHz : WPA2PSK/AES [Preferred PHY N/Channel 6]
    • Router 0 - 5 GHz : WPA2PSK/AES [Preferred PHY A/Channel 36]
    • Router 1 - 2.4 GHz : WPA2Enterprise (PEAP-MSCHAPv2)/AES [Preferred PHY N/Channel 11]
    • Router 1 - 5 GHz : WPA2Enterprise (PEAP-MSCHAPv2)/AES [Preferred PHY A/Channel 157]
  • Execute the BasicAssociation() test steps as described in WLAN Association Tests - Custom Configuration with FIPS mode enabled
  • This test does not perform any power transition tests.
