Check Resource (WoW64)
This automated test uses the D3D9Ex API to verify the QueryResourceResidency function of the user-mode display driver.
This topic is applicable to the following test jobs:
Check Resource
Check Resource (WoW64)
Applications use QueryResourceResidency to determine if the operating system will pause at draw time to make the resource CPU-accessible. The test runs against the following resource texture types: Cube Texture, Volume Texture, Surface, vertex buffer (VB), and index buffer (IB). For each resource type the test creates the resource, uses the resource in a rending operation, and then checks its residency. If the resource is not resident (fully or in shared memory), the test fails.
